Donnie Bugden – E-Learning Developer & Creative Lead
Donnie Bugden created and led the development of Kidsland.tv, an innovative and educational multilingual flash animation and game portal designed specifically for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Kidsland.tv was crafted to support teachers in facilitating holistic early childhood education, emphasizing key developmental areas such as language and literacy, mathematics, the arts, physical development, cognitive skills, and social/emotional growth.
Donnie’s role encompassed full project management responsibilities, including leading a skilled team of professionals consisting of a programmer, a character artist, and an art director. He coordinated the creative and technical aspects of the project, ensuring that the final product was both engaging and educationally effective. Additionally, Donnie maintained weekly communication with the Korean development team, ensuring smooth collaboration and alignment with project goals.
The project was built using a robust technology stack, including SmartfoxServer, PHP/MySQL, ActionScript 3, LAMP, SEO, Illustrator, and Flash. Donnie’s ability to integrate these tools effectively demonstrates his expertise in both technical development and creative direction, making Kidsland.tv a successful and impactful educational resource for early childhood education.
